In February of 2005 Please began recording tracks in Venice, California at Lincoln Studios with producer Steve Refling (Cockeyed Ghost, the Negro Problem, Natalie Merchant, Little Steven).

Under his guidance and untiring work ethic the band honed their music into the digital age. The result was a sound tinged with Tom Pettyish rock swagger, Herb Alpert charm, and Tom Waitsian abandon.

Refling not only captured, but enhanced the new, yet somehow nostalgic sound of Please. The world will soon be listening.
